Using the site and the phrases

The site is free to read. The phrases exist to be used: copy them onto whiteboards, into classrooms, party games, quizzes and family evenings without asking. What is not granted is republishing the lists themselves, in whole or in substantial part, as content on another website or in a commercial product; the curation and the writing are this site's work and remain its copyright.

No warranties

The lists are checked carefully, but the site is provided as is. No guarantee is made that any page is free of errors, and no responsibility is accepted for the outcome of any game night, classroom activity or family dispute in which the phrases are deployed.

The contact form

Messages sent through the contact form must not be abusive or unlawful. Sending a message grants the site permission to store and read it, as the privacy policy describes, and nothing more.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and material changes will be described rather than slipped in quietly.
